*****We are strictly enforcing rules this year to maintain saftey and provide even competition.  Pay special attention to the red highlighted rules because we will making sure they are right on your pulling tractor or truck.****

 

We have also added Workstock Diesel, 2.6 Turbo  and Modified Diesel Truck Classes and the rules are below.  Workstock Diesel is street truck with just minimum add on performance adders. 2.6 is the size of the inducer on the turbo. Modified Diesel Class is for trucks that have modifications strictly for pulling.

  Rules  For  Stock  Antique  Class


1)  Antique Models – 1900 thru 1967; must have original serial number.  Tractors will be checked if in question.
   2)  Tractors must retain stock appearance.
   3)  Gasoline, LP, and Diesel Fuel Tractors only.  No Alcohol.  No Nitrous.
   4)  Tractors must weigh within limits of each weight class.  No overweight allowance.
   5)  One class entry per tractor.  Total of two pulls per tractor.
 * 6)  Sharpened Flat Cut tires are allowed. No professional pulling cut tires will be allowed for Anitique Class. Discretion with tires will be track officials call.
  
 7)  No Dual Wheels.
 
8)  Tire size 18.4 thru 7500 # class; tire size 24.5 in 8500 thru 16000 # classes (all classes)
 * 9)  A pair of Wheelie Bars are required
* 10)  Draw Bar with Clevis Required.
  
11)  Draw Bar must be stationary with NO movement.
  
12)    20” maximum height to the top of the Draw Bar with minimum ¾” Draw Bar Thickness; 18” minimum Draw Bar length from center of rear axle  to back of hole.

13)  No part of Draw Bar can be touching sled chain while pulling.

 14)  Tractor must have Working Brakes.
 15)  No Turbo or Super Chargers unless Factory Equipped.
 16)  Use of Factory T A and Multi-power will be allowed one time only.
*17)  Add-on weights allowed.  Add-on weights are not to extend over 11 feet from centerline of rear axle.
18)  No one is allowed on the track except pullers and officials
19)  Pullers 16 years of age and younger must have a signed release by parent or guardian to pull.  Kill switch is required on tractor.

       20)  Tractor must weigh out after each pull.  Driver is to stay
       on  the tractor

       21)  Drivers must remain seated during the pull with at least  one 
       hand on the steering wheel.

     * 22) No tractor will exceed 3½  mph.  Two warnings
       will be issued.  Pull will be disqualified on third violation with no

       measurement  recorded.                  

 23)  Pull must start with tight chain.  No jerking of sled.  Rough starts will be red-flagged.

     * 24)  Each puller has two attempts to pass the 20 
       foot mark. Pull is official after the 20 foot mark is passed.

 25)  Front wheels may not leave the ground more than 18” during pull.

        26)  Excessive lost of liquid ( stream or intermittent stream)
       discharged on the track will be red-flagged.

     * 27) The pull will be red-flagged and measured at the spot the 
       tractor runs out of bounds if any part of the tractor
 or sled 
      crossed the boundary line.

28)  Pull is over when forward motion of sled is stopped or red flag is dropped.

29)  A Protest must be filed within the weight class before the next class begins at the sign up booth.  
 A $100.00 Protest Fee must be paid before the protest will be allowed.

     30)  No reckless driving of tractors will be permitted on or off the 
       track. Track Officials may disqualify any tractor driver

for non-sportsmanship conduct, intoxication, or failure to stop when red-flagged.

     31)  Rules are subject to revision at any time by Track Officials.

     32)  At all times the tractors, drivers, and pulls will be governed  
       by Track Officials and Flagmen.

      33)  Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified.

      34)  Track Official’s Rulings and Decisions are Final.

* indicates rules applying to Stock Antique Classes ONLY!

                         Rules For Super Antique Classes
1) Maximum RPM 4000.
2) Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded.
3) Fans removed on engines over 3000 RPM.
4) All tire sizes allowed. Cut tires allowed
.
5) Must have closed ring hitch with min. 3” ID and ¾” diameter drawbar. Tractor must not obstruct chain or clevis.
6) Must have working kill switch.
7) Tractors can pull in any gear. Rough starts will be red-flagged.
8) 75’ False start allowance
9) Tractors not meeting specifications will not be permitted to pull.
10) Super Tractors can not pull in Antique Classes. Antique Tractors can pull in Super Classes.
11) All Stock Antique Rules apply. 


        Rules For Hot Farm Classes
1) Roll Cages or Factory ROPS with Seat Belt Required
2) Any year model allowed.
3) Must have a pair of Wheelie Bars.
4) Transmission Wraps Required
5) Fans removed on engines over 3000 RPM.
6) Spring loaded hand throttles that will automatically return to idle speed are Required
7) All tractors must have working brakes.
8) All size tires allowed. Cut tires allowed.
9) Must have working kill switch, Air shutoff preferred
10) Tractors can pull in any gear. Rough starts will be red-flagged.
11) Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded with NO distance recorded.
12) 75’ False start allowance.
13) Any tractor deemed unsafe by Track Officials will NOT be allowed to pull.
14) All Weights Must be Secure – No Loose Weights
15) All Stock Antique Rules apply



Rules for Farm Stock
1) Stock Tractor any year as Factory Equipped 
2) No hanging weights allowed on 3pt lift. Weight bars are allowed on front and rear of  tractor with hanging weights.
3) Maxium Speed of 8 M.P.H.
4) Factory Draw Bar no higher than 20” with Clevis 
5) No Duels No 4X4 
6) TA’s, Multi Power, and Power Shifts allowed – One Shift Only
 

Rules for V8 Modified Classes
1) Tractors Must Retain Tractor Appearance
2) Roll Cages with Seatbelts Required
4) Wheelie Bars that Support the Weight of the Tractor are Required
5) Maximum Tires of 18.4
6) Break Away Kill Switches Required
7) Spring Return Throttle Required
8) Single Carburetor; Gas or Racing Fuel Only – No Alcohol or Nitrous
9) No Engine Driven Fans
10) Steel Shield or Blanket Wrap Required for Bell Housing.
11) Hitches have a 20” maximum height, Min.18” from center line of rear axle, Min. ¾” thick and 3” D Ring with NO movement
12) All Weights Must be Secured – No Loose Weights
13) False Start Distance of 75’ Allowed
14) Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded and No distance is recorded
15) Any Tractor deemed Unsafe by Track Officials will Not be allowed to pull
16) Rules are subject to revision at any time by Track Officials
17) At all times the tractors, drivers, and pulls will be governed by Track Officials and Flagmen
18) Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified
19) Track Official’s Rulings and Decisions are Final 




         TRUCK  PULL  RULES 

Street Class Trucks
1)  Driver must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.  Drivers 16 & 17 may compete with their parent’s approval
 2)  No alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted.  Alcohol consumption or
unsportsmanlike behavior will be grounds for disqualification
   The classes are as follows and will pull in the order listed:
      Two wheel drive with a maximum weight of 5500lb
       
4X4‘s with a maximum weight of 5500
       Two wheel drive with a maximum weight of 6500 lbs
     
 4X4‘s with a maximum weight of 6500 lbs
       
Street Class with a maximum weight of 6500 lbs
       
4X4‘s with a maximum weight of 7500 lb
       
Street Class with a maximum weight of 7500 lbs
        Workstock Diesel Truck  maximum weight of 8000lbs
         2.6 Turbo Diesel Truck maximum weight of 8000lbs
        Modified Diesel Truck maximum weight of 8000lbs
        Workstock Diesel Truck maximum weight of 8500lbs
       
Open Class(Gas and Diesel Modified Trucks) with a maximum weight of 8500 lbs
       
 Any truck can hook only once per class.  
3) Trucks must be Street Legal. This means have must have Tag, Insurance, and D.O.T approved tires(no cut or altered tires)!
4) 4x4 street truck must have a hitch height of 26” maximum height to the top of the hitch.
   All trucks must pull from a clevis or D ring with 3’’ ID.

5  No shifting allowed on Manuals.
 
6)  A puller may have a second try if he/she stops within 75 feet of the start line.
 However,  in a pull-off the puller has only one try.
7)  No passengers allowed in the truck while it is pulling
8)  Loss of equipment under the green will stop the pull
9)  There will be an automatic disqualification in all classes if the pulling truck touches the sidel
ines.
10)  All trucks when entering or leaving the property are not to exceed 5 mph and when not pulling must remain in the pit area
11)  All registered pull trucks must have their number cards visible at all times in the
 windshield.
12)  Pullers may have sled spotted on starting line where desired if he/she notifies sled operator in sufficient time when sled is returning to the starting line from the
previous pull
13)  All decisions concerning truck classification and/or eligibility  will be made by
the  Track Officials.
14) Rules are subject to revision at any time by Track Officials.
15)  At all times the trucks, drivers, and the pulls will be governed by Track Officials and Flagmen.
16)  Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified.
17)  Lack of adherence to these rules will be grounds for disqualification.
18)  Track Officials decisions are final. 

Workstock Diesel Class

Work Stock Diesel


The Work Stock (WS) class is designed for daily-driven, on the road pickup trucks (full-bodied diesel pickup trucks). *****NO NITROUS*****

Valid DOT registration and license plates are mandatory.

The vehicle may be two or four-wheel drive.

Designation: Weight breaks: 8000lbs and 8500lbs Weight is with driver.

REGULATIONS:

Ballast: Ballast is permitted. Hanging weights may not extend more than 60 inches from the centerline of the front axle.

Batteries: The batteries must be securely mounted. They may not be located in the driver compartment or forward of the radiator core support.

Body: The body must be the OEM truck body, including the full bed floor. The body must retain full sheet metal. Metal after-market hoods are permitted. Fiberglass is prohibited. The hood must be closed and securely latched while the vehicle is hooked to the sled. The complete OEM firewall and OEM floor pan is mandatory.

Brakes: Four-wheel hydraulic brakes are mandatory.

Chassis: The OEM chassis is mandatory. The engine must be in the OEM location for the body used. The vehicle must retain the full OEM chassis. Wheel tubs, back-half conversions, tube chassis, etc., are prohibited.

Cooling System: Radiators must be in the stock location and be of at least stock size.

Credentials: All drivers must have a valid state drivers license.

Driveline: An OEM transmission and transfer case are mandatory. They must have been an option on a one-ton or smaller pickup.

Driver Restraint System: The OEM restraint system is mandatory and must be worn.

Engine: The engine is limited to a stock-appearing, OEM make-specific compression ignition engine. NITROUS OXIDE is prohibited along with other oxygen extenders as well as the use of PROPANE is also prohibited. All system components MUST be removed from the truck.

*****Exhaust: all exhaust must exit upwards.  if you have stock or aftermarket exhaust that exits out the side then you must use a 90 to turn the exhaust up in the air.  This is for the safety of our spectators.****
 
Fuel: The fuel must be pump #1/#2 diesel only. Soy/Bio-diesel fuel is permitted. Off-road diesel fuel is prohibited.

Fuel Injection Pump: The fuel injection pump is limited to a stock-appearing, OEM engine model-specific pump only. The use of multiple high-pressure common-rail fuel pumps is prohibited. Powerstroke engines with a single factory turbo may utilize a second HPOP. Pumps from different years in the same engine model may be interchanged.

Fuel System: The OEM fuel tank is mandatory and must be used. Racing fuel cells are prohibited and must be removed from the vehicle.

Harmonic Balancer: All engines turning 4500 RPM and higher must be equipped with a harmonic balancer or damper meeting SFI Spec 18.1.

Hitch: The hitch must be a receiver-style hitch; reinforcements are permitted. Reinforcements must not extend forward of the centerline of the rear axle. Trick hitches are prohibited. The hooking point must be the rear-most point on the vehicle and must be rearward of the stock location of the tailgate. The hitch must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions. Bumpers may be notched or removed. The hitch’s height from the ground may not exceed 26 inches on 4wd units and 30 inches on 2wd units. The hooking point must have a minimum 3.750-inch inside diameter opening for the sled hook. The hooking point will be measured to the center of the clevis loop.

Interior: A complete interior, including dashboard, door panels, headliner, etc., is mandatory. Two matching front seats are mandatory. Aftermarket seats are permitted; they must be fully upholstered. All factory controls (lights, signals, horn, windows, wipers, etc.) must be retained and be operative. The use of hand-throttle controls are prohibited.

Rear End: Non-OEM rear-end housings are prohibited. It must have been an option on a one-ton or smaller pick up. Rear axle bolts must be covered by a cap or shield.

Steering: The vehicle must retain the full, original OEM steering gear. The vehicle must retain the original OEM power steering assistance, if it was so equipped. Additional stabilizers are permitted. Non-OEM power assist methods are prohibited.

Street Equipment: Complete headlight and taillight assemblies (all) are mandatory and must be operative. Complete OEM windshield and windows are mandatory. Windows must be operative per factory specifications; that is, they must open and close via OEM electrical or mechanical means.

Suspension, Front: The upper mounting point for strut assemblies must be in the factory location. Adjustable caster/camber pillow ball mounts are permitted. The lower control arm may be strengthened provided factory-mounting points to chassis are maintained. The lower mounting point for the strut assembly may be modified for improved caster or camber. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, and limit straps are permitted. Traction bars and devices are permitted.

Suspension, Rear: An OEM-style suspension is mandatory. Lowering or raising the vehicle height with suspension modifications is permitted. Traction bars and devices are permitted; they must be bolt-on only; welds are permitted for attachment to frame or axle housing. All OEM suspension mounting points must be retained and used.*** NO SUSPENSION BLOCKS!*** Sway bars, limit straps, and camber kits are permitted. All rear suspensions must use at least one working shock absorber per wheel. Airbag spring assistance is permitted; airbag compressors must be disconnected.

Tires: The tires must be DOT street tires. Cut tires are prohibited.

Transfer Case: Non-OEM transfer cases are prohibited. The transfer case must have been an option on a one-ton or smaller pick up truck.

Transmission, Automatic: Non-OEM transmissions are prohibited. Aftermarket torque converters, valve bodies and internal components are permitted. Transmission brakes are prohibited. Any non-OEM floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter must be equipped with a spring-loaded positive reverse lockout device to prevent the shifter from accidentally being put into reverse gear. A functional neutral safety switch is mandatory. All transmission lines must be metallic or high-pressure-type hose. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and using an automatic transmission must be equipped with a transmission shield meeting SFI Spec 4.1 and must be labeled accordingly. A blanket-type shield is permitted; it must be appropriately labeled as meeting SFI Spec 4.1 and it must extend from the rear of the block to the front of tail housing with a minimum six inch overlap where it is fastened. All non-blanket-type shields must incorporate two (or one, per manufacturers instructions) 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch straps that bolt to the shield on each side and pass under the transmission pan unless the transmission pan is labeled as meeting SFI Spec 4.1. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and using an automatic transmission must be equipped with a flex plate meeting SFI Spec 29.1 and be covered by a flex plate shield meeting SFI Spec 30.1.

Transmission, Manual: Non-OEM transmissions are prohibited. Aftermarket internal components are permitted. A clutch meeting minimum SFI Spec 1.1 or 1.2 is mandatory on all vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more. All manual transmissions must be clutch assisted. Sequential shifters are prohibited. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and equipped with a manual transmission must have a flywheel shield labeled as meeting minimum SFI Spec 6.3 or greater. Applications for which an SFI Spec flywheel shield is not available may use a properly attached SFI 4.1 or 4.2 blanket that completely covers the bell housing; it must be attached to the block and extend rearward to the transmission with a minimum six inch overlap where it is fastened.

Turbocharger: The turbocharger is limited to a stock-appearing, OEM/Factory make-specific charger only. Turbochargers from different years in the same make may be interchanged. 6.4 liter Powerstroke engines may utilize the factory twin-turbo configuration.

Water Injection: Water injection is prohibited. All system components must be removed from the truck.

Wheelbase: The vehicle must retain the original factory wheelbase and track width. 

***We reserve the right to bump any truck up to modified if the track officials deems it fit.***

2.6 Street Diesel

The Street Diesel (SD) class is designed for streetable pickup trucks with a wide variety of performance upgrades.

The vehicle may be two or four-wheel drive.

Designations: 2.6 SD Weight: 8000lbs  Maximum, with driver.

REGULATIONS:

Ballast: Ballast is permitted. Hanging weights may not extend more than 60 inches from the centerline of the front axle.

Batteries: The batteries must be securely mounted. They may not be located in the driver compartment or forward of the radiator core support.

Body: The body must be an OEM truck body, including the full bed floor. The body must retain full sheet metal. Metal aftermarket hoods are permitted. Fiberglass is prohibited. The hood must be closed and securely latched while the vehicle is hooked to the sled. The complete OEM firewall and complete OEM floor pan is mandatory Brakes: Four-wheel hydraulic brakes are mandatory.

Chassis: The OEM chassis is mandatory. The engine must be in the OEM location for the body used. The vehicle must retain the full OEM chassis. Wheel tubs, back-half conversions, tube chassis, etc., are prohibited.

Driveshaft Loops: All trucks must have at least six inch wide u-joint shields around the rear ujoint constructed of at least _ inch steel or 3/8 inch aluminum that will safely contain the u-joint and the end of the rear shaft. All shields must be securely mounted to the vehicle. Any front shaft u-joint that is visible from the side of the truck must be shielded to contain the u-joint and the end of the shaft. A new puller will be granted a one-time waiver of this requirement.

Engine: The engine block must have been available as a factory option on a one-ton or smaller pickup truck. Blocks must circulate coolant freely. Water pumps must be present, but may be powered electrically The use of concrete or other block fillers is prohibited. All factory beltdriven accessories, excluding the air conditioning compressor, must be retained and powered via the crankshaft by a standard serpentine or ‘V’ belt. Electric fans are permitted. Aftermarket radiator assemblies are permitted, but must be securely mounted in the same general area as the OEM unit. NITROUS OXIDE is prohibited along with other oxygen extenders and the use of PROPANE is also prohibited. All system components MUST be removed from the truck.

Fuel: The fuel must be pump #1/#2 diesel only. Soy/Bio-diesel fuel is permitted. Off-road diesel fuel is prohibited.

Control arms may be strengthened or replaced, provided all original mounting points are retained. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, limit straps, and camber kits are permitted. The rear suspension may be bolted solid to eliminate travel. All rear suspensions must use at least one working shock absorber per wheel.

Tires: The tires must be DOT street tires. Cut tires are prohibited.

Transfer Case: Non-OEM transfer cases are prohibited. It must have been an option on a one-ton or smaller pick up truck.

Turbocharger: The vehicle is limited to a single turbocharger; the inducer bore on the compressor housing may be 2.6”. The inlet will be measured using a 2.65-inch plug or internal calipers. Bushing from any larger turbo size down to a 2.6 turbo is PROHIBITED. A stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has a width greater than 1/4 inch. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited. 6.4 liter Powerstroke engines may utilize the factory twin-turbo configuration. 
 
Exhaust:  Hood stacks are allowed

Water Injection: Water injection is prohibited. All system components must be removed from the truck.

Wheelbase: The vehicle must retain the original unaltered factory wheelbase and track width. Front dual-wheel spacers may be used only with accompanying positive-offset dually style wheels.



Modified Diesel Truck 
The vehicle may be two or four-wheel drive. 

May pull in 8000lb Modified Diesel class and 8500lb Open class. 

REGULATIONS:

Ballast: Ballast is permitted. Hanging weights may not extend more than 60 inches from the centerline of the front axle.

Credentials: All drivers must have a valid state drivers license.

Driver Restraint System: The OEM restraint system is mandatory and must be worn.

Driveshaft Loops: All trucks must have at least six inch wide u-joint shields around the rear ujoint constructed of at least _ inch steel or 3/8 inch aluminum that will safely contain the u-joint and the end of the rear shaft. All shields must be securely mounted to the vehicle. Any front shaft u-joint that is visible from the side of the truck must be shielded to contain the u-joint and the end of the shaft.

Fuel: The fuel must be pump #1/#2 diesel only. Soy/Bio-diesel fuel is permitted. Off-road diesel fuel is prohibited.

Harmonic Balancer: All engines turning 4500 RPM and higher must be equipped with a harmonic balancer or damper meeting SFI Spec 18.1.

Hitch: The hitch’s height from the ground may not exceed 26 inches on 4wd units and 30 inches on 2wd units. The hooking point must have a minimum 3.750-inch inside diameter opening for the sled hook. The hooking point will be measured to the center of the clevis loop.

Interior: Open

Transmission, Automatic: Non-OEM transmissions are permitted. Aftermarket torque converters, valve bodies and internal components are permitted. Transmission brakes are permitted. Any non-OEM floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter must be equipped with a spring-loaded positive reverse lockout device to prevent the shifter from accidentally being put into reverse gear. A functional neutral safety switch is mandatory. All transmission lines must be metallic or high-pressure-type hose. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and using an automatic transmission must be equipped with a transmission shield meeting SFI Spec 4.1 and must be labeled accordingly. A blanket-type shield is permitted; it must be appropriately labeled as meeting SFI Spec 4.1 and it must extend from the rear of the block to the front of tail housing with a minimum six-inch overlap where it is fastened. All non-blanket-type shields must incorporate two (or one, per manufacturers instructions) 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch straps that bolt to the shield on each side and pass under the transmission pan unless the transmission pan is labeled as meeting SFI Spec 4.1. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and using an automatic transmission must be equipped with a flex plate meeting SFI Spec 29.1 and be covered by a flex plate shield meeting SFI Spec 30.1.

Transmission, Manual: Non-OEM transmissions are permitted. Aftermarket internal components are permitted. A clutch meeting minimum SFI Spec 1.1 or 1.2 is mandatory on all vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more. All manual transmissions must be clutch assisted. Sequential shifters are prohibited. All vehicles with engines running 4500 RPM or more and equipped with a manual transmission must have a flywheel shield labeled as meeting minimum SFI Spec 6.3 or greater. Applications for which an SFI Spec flywheel shield is not available may use a properly attached SFI 4.1 or 4.2 blanket that completely covers the bell housing; it must be attached to the block and extend rearward to the transmission with a minimum six inch overlap where it is fastened.

Modified GAS Truck Rules

1) All trucks must have factory-like hood, cab, doors, bed can be either flat bed or pickup bed.
2) 2x2 trucks can have a maximum hitch height of 30in to top of hooking point.  4x4 trucks can have a maximum hitch height of 26in to top of hooking point. All truck must pull from a 3in clevis or d-ring.
3) All trucks must have a working kill switch that stops the truck in the rear of the truck.
4) No nitrous or alcohol fuel
5) All  trucks must have working brakes with factory pedals
6) Trucks must NOT carry fuel or batteries inside cab!
7) Autotmatic Transmissions must have blankets
8) Manual transmissions must have steel bell housings and flywheels
9) U-joints on driveshafts must be shielded. Trucks must also have driveshaft loops on all shafts
10) Lack of adhearance to these rules will be grounds for disqualification.
11) Rules are subject to revision by track officials at anytime.
12) All decisions concerning truck classification and/or eligibillity will be made by track officials
